Letters received, clippings, genealogical tables, printed articles, pamphlets, notes and notebooks, extracts, a small number of photographs and glass plate negatives, etc., 1903-1933, compiled by Barnett A. Elzas and pertaining to his researches into the history and genealogy of Jews in South Carolina. Also included is a volume containing 87 pages of death, funeral, and obituary notices copied by Elzas from various Charleston, South Carolina newspapers from 1783 to ca. 1902; with an addenda from the records of Kahal Kadosh Beth Elohim and accompanying card index.
